FAQ

How can I learn more about the conditions and issues you address in your blog? Hyperlinks in each post will connect you to published articles and other sources that I used to collect my information. They are a great resource for more information.

Can I request a topic to be covered in your blog? Sure! I am always looking for more topics to write about. If there is anything that particularly interests you, I would love to take a look and offer my thoughts.

Where do you get your information? I scout scholarly journals, newspapers, and other multimedia platforms to find my topics and reference my material. None of the research or initial data has been collected by myself. All appropriate sources are linked in the blog post via hyperlinks

What do I do if I think myself or someone I know is affected by a condition or health care issue addressed in your post? I am not a medical provider, so I am unable to offer medical advice or referrals. Please see your PCP to discuss your concerns and formulate a plan of action.

How can we contact you with questions? My posts will be open to questions and comments on the website. If you have further inquiries, please contact me via email found on my Contact page. All other social media information can be found on the sidebar to the right.

What advice do you have for people who want to become involved in medicine and/or public health? Get involved! There is so much you can do in your community as a volunteer, and the difference you can make is HUGE. There is always a need for time and resources, so if you are able to give anything, you will be able to positively impact the lives of others.

Your “About” page says that you are a medical scribe. Can you tell me about your experience? Do you recommend it? You can find more about my experience as a medical scribe here.
